thank you! text is my nemesis sometimes but I LOVED the font in #15 and I knew I had to use it for something good. it turned out much better than I thought!
awww you're too nice to me, commenting on icons for a show you don't even watch. hopefully I'll be making more soon that you can properly appreciate <3
I'll look forward to more icons from you in any case! ;D
(I mostly iconned my own trailer caps, also caps by.... gallicka I think, and/or screencapped.net and http://kissthemgoodbye.net/? And there's another gallery but I think that's down now. I'm not very good at keeping track of this stuff, I'm afraid.)
Ahh, okay! I was going to cap it myself but had an oh duh moment when I realized that I own the blu-ray and my laptop is decidedly NOT blu-ray compatible :/
thank you! I usually tend to go for high contrast/high vibrancy in my icons so it was a fun and different challenge to make a more muted/vintage colored icon.
You don't have to be worried about it, they look fantastic on my screen! I think I could never make icons on my tv! I need to be really close to my screen to see all the details and I'd just drive crazy if I had to use my tv! That said, I love the coloring on #2, #3 (give me those purples!!!! *-*) and #6. I also love the muted/earth tones on #10 and the composition and texture work on #17. Your crop on #4 and #12 is MARVELOUS. But I think my fav might be #5, it's sooooo full of color and I think it has something especial in it. I just love it. Great work :)
asdlkasfkjlsd THANK YOU honest to god I was so worried about how they would end up looking >.< especially since they look a little wonky on my phone, but eh screw it, I like how they look on the TV. it helps that I work on a 400x400 canvas to make my icons. I started when I had to wear glasses but computer glare meant I used my computer without them and now that I wear contacts I've just stuck with it *shrugs*
#5 was an unexpected fav honestly. The original cap is SUPER washed out and the sky was that really ugly grey/white thing so I just kept slapping colorful textures set to multiply/color/darken/whatever until it finally started to look decent. It was a lot of fun and totally reminded me of blending modes I never use lol.
I'm soooooo in awe by these!! You have this beautiful, earthy coloring that just pops out and I can't stop staring at these. I'm in love with 6, 10, 17 and also 4. The coloring in those, 5 and 2,9,12 and 18 is outstanding. I'd totally snag 10 if I didn't hate Snow (that is Snow, right?) so I'm gonna go steal 6, 17 and 12 and will of course credit!! A splendid set, really.
ahhh you totally made me blush a little bit <3 thank you SO much! And yes, #10 is snow(and I feel you; S1 was pretty much the only time I really liked snow so it was hard to actually motivate myself to make icons of her).
