Get to Know My Hubby~!! ^_^
This is a brief introduction post for my hubby favorite KAT-TUN member~ Ueda Tatsuya, his history in JE is somewhat legendary. He went from totally zero, then improved and jump up to become one of the world's JE heartthrob beauty. No, kidding, really. He is the one who gave me strength whenever I feel totally useless... Well then, enough talk, I hope u enjoy the journey~! :)

History
Ueda had been moving around quite a bit during his childhood due to his father's job that required a number of transfers. Okinawa, Saitama and Tokyo are one of the known places he spent his time at. His family is rumored to be so rich that they even owned a private jet.
Ueda grew up in a noble and knowledgeable family which he is not excepted from going for additional classes such as english, calligraphy, swimming, painting, piano and others. In which this also make him having less to no free time during childhood. His parents' occupation are unknown but it is said that his grandmother is a master of Sabo, therefore Ueda used to learn Sabo and have the basic of the knowledge. His elder sister is currently said to be a dentist assistant.
In occasional news cover, it is also evidenced that his mother is quite a social woman. She always keeps contact with Yamashita's mother, and sometimes arranged some get-together party with other KAT-TUN's parents from time to time.
Johnny's Career
Ueda joined Johnny's Entertainment on 22nd June 1998 and was assigned in BBA as his first group. On spring 2000, he joined BBD for a few months before switching to MAD group by the end of the same year. In early 2001, however, he was chosen by Domoto Koichi's back dancing group called KAT-TUN. (which make me feel like hugging Koichi bcoz I wouldn't have known my hubby favourite member if it wasn't bcoz of him)
When KAT-TUN first formed, Ueda was originally responsible as the group leader. Group member, Kamenashi used to call him 'leader' but since Ueda resigned from that role, KAT-TUN remained leaderless up until today.
In September 2008, Ueda become the first KAT-TUN members who performed solo concerts. He held his own audition to pick his band members and formed a band called Mouse Peace. In 2010, he gathered his Mouse Peace crews and held another solo concert for the second time. In early 2011, he mentioned that he planned to make another concert with his Mouse Peace band.
His Personality
Ueda, as does his family, is known to be animal lover (though not as much as bandmate Koki I think). It is said that their family own 4 dogs and 2 cats, even though he's allergic towards cats. (Recently one of their Golden Retriever died) However, it is still unclear about just how much animals are living at Ueda's house or his parents' house. Recently he saved a dog and kept it whom he named Tico-chan.
Ueda basically is one of the KAT-TUN members that changed so much over the years. But one thing that never change inside him is his insecurities. During KAT-TUN interviews, he would sometimes say he is useless outside work, and once in his Shounen Club Premium, he voiced his worry about being off tune with his instruments. Just this time, he didn't show it through fake personalities like he used to.
He is a very sensitive guy. When he was a Johnny's Junior, he cried a lot whenever people teased him. Recently in his solo concert 2010 however, it was revealed that he hadn't cried for more than five years already, but when he saw Takeshi (his drummer) cried, Ueda said he wouldn't mind crying again for his Mouse Peace crews. (He really really loves his friends, trust me)
He is the type who would never give up on what he likes. This mainly refers to music and boxing. He is also the type who would learn from mistakes, as long as he gets the chance.
Ueda is super messy. And now that he is living alone, his room is always untidy. honey, please keep our bedroom tidy at least... But he is a good cook.
He loves his family and friends and he always gets lonely when nobody is around. He believes nothing could be done on your own. He wouldn't mind if his friends call him in the night because he loves to support his friends. (Actually he said he's thankful, but I can't imagine waking up in the night to answer calls and then being thankful?? o.O)
Being a manga-lover, he always reads manga in the bathtub and switched his TV on anime channel and have it as his home's background music. (no matter if he's not paying any attention to the TV at all *sigh*)
He really loves sweets like candies, yogurt and milk crepe, but knowing him who exercises A LOT, it burns right off him. He is the type who would become irritated when he's hungry too.
He is a very disciplined guy, he never late for meetings, gym and his boxing training. But in the same time, he hates waiting. The maximum span he can wait for people is 5 minutes.
He is a placid thinker. Koki once said that he always unintentionally calculate everything before he speaks which made him always looks like he's always in his own world. In one interview, Ueda said himself that he doesn't trust people that easily. However, he can be extremely frank and random to those he is close to. (Actually, it's obvious if you read his interviews)
His bandmate Jin once said Ueda is the nice kind type of guy who would never kick people out of his house if any of them wants to stay the night. And if they happen to stay, Ueda will neglect his muscle training and serve the guests instead.
According to Taguchi, he doesn't drink hard liquor. He only drinks cute drinks like plume wine soda and his friends complained that he should try the beer sometimes.
He was horrible with computers and often called Nakamaru to fix his computer because he plugs in wrongly. Well, he always broke his gadgets anyway. But he recently improved in technology and even have a video camera.
He is an impulsive buyer. He once went shopping and furiously buy without thinking and end up spending 10,000 yen at the cashier. (Thank God he's rich)
He is the type who would adapt with the people around him. He once said with different people, he would turn into one of the many different sides of him.
He is so naive and he believes people rather easily. He doesn't answer calls from unknown numbers, which he missed Johnny's call sometimes because Johnny has a few numbers he didn't save. lol, Uepi... but I understand him though... XP
Contrary to popular beliefs, he doesn't like bright colors like pink, green and orange. He always prefers the dark colors like black and red. Uepi, green is not bright though... and red is bright~!! T__T
Interestingly enough in an interview when Akanishi was still with them, it seems like Ueda had a trustworthy image in KAT-TUN. When they were asked whom they will talk to if they have problems, all of KAT-TUN members (including Akanishi, except Koki and Ueda) answered that they will talk to Ueda.
He is not a clingy possessive boyfriend. When asked what if his girl has a lot of boy friends, he said he wouldn't mind as long as they are just friends. And when he was asked what if his girl wanted to always be with him, he said he would want to have some alone time with his friends too. He doesn't like a jealous girlfriend.
He loves kids, especially little girls. He would become extremely nice and spoil them. At one of KAT-TUN shows in 2010, it was proved that he really enjoyed accompanying children when he was given the chance to have a blind date with a 12-year-old girl. He and that girl really enjoyed the day. Even though it looks more like a father-daughter outing rather than a date.
He loves girls. Seriously, no kidding~ LOL~ He always gives special kind and cool treatments towards pretty girls. Koki even said that Ueda is a sadistic pervert but nobody really realize that because he always say perverted things without sounding like a pervert. Lucky boy... (But the fact that he treasures his friends and families so much, I think I came to conclusion that he loves people in general, lol~) :p
His Interest
Since 2006, he started his boxing lesson and trained vigorously ever since and recently in early 2011 he finally received his C-type boxing license which made him the first Johnny to do so. Okada Junichi of V6 once voiced his support about Ueda being the first Johnny with martial arts license and Ueda was very motivated with his senpai's support. Currently he's aiming for the B-type boxing license. For the sake of his boxing training, he jogs everyday approximately 10km a day and also attended gym training sessions. On 27th August 2010, during KAT-TUN's world tour, he injured himself and had a fractured bone on his toe but continued his performances and make his own way back stage before getting aids and backups from the staffs. And with a broken toe, he continued his training and jog 5km a day without seeking doctor's advice, and he was scolded by his doctor a few times. my poor uepi... -_-"
Ueda also have a vast interest in basketball and played it a lot. Long ago during a basketball play, he broke his right little finger which caused him couldn't bend or straighten his right little finger properly these days.
His Talents
Ueda is well-known with his ability of writing and composing his own music. Being known to have a soft melodic voice, Ueda composed lots of his solo songs, some are ballads, while the others are catchy. One of his well-known self-owned song is Love In Snow which he had performed in various shows and KAT-TUN concert. He plays the guitar and piano, and recently had been learning to play violin with his Mouse Peace crews. Up to this point he composed and wrote all of his songs in different genres and different lyric POV and has not yet satisfied to challenge himself.
Ueda's vocal range is probably one of the best in KAT-TUN, along with Kame. When Jin quit KAT-TUN, these two had covered Jin's high notes and tricky parts in their previous songs. Ueda's own solo songs hit some high notes themselves too. And during their latest White single, for the Yuuki no Hana song, Ueda was given the falsetto part and Koki said that Ueda's falsetto is very beautiful.

His Interactions with Others
KAmenashi : Ueda said that when he met Kame for the first time, he thought Kame has a weird name, but they both respect each others' personality. When they first formed KAT-TUN, it is said that Ueda had the worst relationship with Kame and they once involved in a fist fight at the Shock backstage which marked the infamous KAT-TUN fist fight in history. (This is before Ueda learnt boxing though, lucky Kame) But they never had a long lasted fight and up until today, they remained friends and cared for each other. In one occasion, Kame told Ueda to invite him if Ueda is participating in any boxing tournament. During 2010, Ueda even mentioned that Kame is the one who taught him the importance of teamwork.
Akanishi (ex-member) : In their early friendship, Ueda and Jin fought a lot because they were so honest to each other and neither of them backed down. However, through time they get along very well and even composed a song together. They are said to have similar taste in music and often exchange CDs and recommends new music. Some stalkers viewers also spotted them together outside work a few times. In interviews, Jin is the one who always blurted out positive things about Ueda, and Ueda had always described Jin's friendly behavior.

Taguchi : Ueda is said to be Taguchi's best friend and they get along very well when they were younger. They usually enjoyed each others company and always been spotted together during work. Ueda said he would always stick to Taguchi whenever he doesn't feel like talking. And in rare occasions, they are seen training boxing (?) together during interviews and making ofs. Recently Ueda is so much into Taguchi's gaming obsessions too.

Tanaka : Koki is Ueda's senpai by year of joining Johnny's and it is rumored that he and Ueda had huge fights before they formed KAT-TUN, which become one of the reasons why they detested being in the group. Koki was once very annoyed at Ueda's nature of being in his own world which make their relationship worse. However, as time pass by, Koki was one of Ueda's friends who supports Ueda the most. Koki was also the first KAT-TUN members who attended Ueda's Mouse Peace solo concert and even stayed behind just to fly with Ueda to Korea so that Ueda won't have to fly alone. awwww, I love Koki~

Nakamaru : Nakamaru was Ueda's best friend since before they even formed the KAT-TUN group. They shop together, eat together, travel together and do other stuff together up until the point that Nakamaru even know a lot of Ueda's personal habits. Right now they both hosting a radio show and they have no problem teasing each other in public. In their R-One series, they even revealed that they always go to school together and Nakamaru always slept on Ueda's shoulder in the bus. In recent interviews, it is also shown that Ueda worries a lot about Nakamaru and he is very vocal about it. They're married anyway... *gets smacked*
Nishikido Ryo : Prior to their long time so-called rivalry, which I personally don't think they are rivals at all, most people have the thought that Ryo and Ueda are long-time enemies. Ryo, however, admitted that though the fight was scripted, he might have gone too far as to hurt Ueda and he already apologized. In a Kanjani8 concert where KAT-TUN appeared as guests in 2004, it is said that Ryo called Ueda and Ryo even wrap his arm over Ueda's shoulder. (Actually, this happen in more than one occasion)

Yamashita Tomohisa : Yamapi and Ueda were not connected through personal friendship. However, Ueda's family and Yamapi's family always contact each other. Yamapi brought this up once on the Wink Up Dengoban, and Ueda apologized to Yamapi because his mom was bugging Yamapi's mom and even walked their dogs together. Yamapi however replied to Ueda and asked Ueda out together too. Ueda also adores Yamapi a lot. In one interview, when asked if he could turn into someone else, he said he would want to become Yamapi.
Mouse Peace crews : In Ueda's heart, Mouse Peace crews that are Okaza Masami, Junya, Takeshi, Taizo and the others are his family. It is shown how passionate Ueda felt about them as he mentioned them a lot in KAT-TUN's interviews. Masami mentioned about Ueda a lot in his blog and he even attended KAT-TUN's concert to support Ueda sometimes. Yup, yup, Masami came all the way from Osaka to Tokyo just to watch Tat-chan... Awww... During his concert MC, Ueda said he can smile and be himself today because of them. When they performed, Ueda loves to give Takeshi more attention because the drummer cannot move around like the other band members. I really love Mouse Peace *finger crossed*

Alice Nine and Sadie : Because Mouse Peace was built with a number of Visual Kei people, Ueda kind of having a little connection with Visual Kei bands. He was seen to be exchanging Wink Up Dengobans conversation with Alice Nine and on May 2011, Sadie's guitarist, Mizuki tweeted that he had meals together with Mouse Peace's Ueda and Masami in Osaka. (the J-Rock lover... I think Uepi really loves being in a band, don't you think? I think it's probably the reason why he said he loves Kanjani8 in TV Fan last July *shrugged*)
Kobayashi Ryoko : During March-April 2009, Ueda was given a chance to play in a stage role of Romeo & Juliet co-starring Kobayashi. Later on prior to the release of KAT-TUN's album No More Pain in 2010, the gossip magazine Friday ran a story claiming that Ueda and Kobayashi were dating, which of course denied by their respective agencies. This gossip however, despite being published with a photo, was remained unclear up until today.

Ichihara Hayato, Tsukamoto Takashi, Suda Masaki (Runaway movie casts) : In 2011, Ueda was given a chance to cast in a movie as one of the four main characters with Ichihara Hayato as the lead character. During filming, it is said that they filmed days and nights and they spent months together working to make their drama work until one point they got so close together. In one of Ueda's break, he was interviewed as a KAT-TUN member, and he mentioned his Runaway casts as his new best friends, telling how he enjoyed working with them. Ichihara Hayato also gave him a necklace as a present which Ueda wears it recently everytime. (You can see it on screen actually, and to be honest, Hayato won't be doing that to those he is not close to. He's quite a quiet person, so when he gave Ueda the necklace already proved they're close.)

Taguchi : Ueda is said to be Taguchi's best friend and they get along very well when they were younger. They usually enjoyed each others company and always been spotted together during work. Ueda said he would always stick to Taguchi whenever he doesn't feel like talking. And in rare occasions, they are seen training boxing (?) together during interviews and making ofs. Recently Ueda is so much into Taguchi's gaming obsessions too.

Tanaka : Koki is Ueda's senpai by year of joining Johnny's and it is rumored that he and Ueda had huge fights before they formed KAT-TUN, which become one of the reasons why they detested being in the group. Koki was once very annoyed at Ueda's nature of being in his own world which make their relationship worse. However, as time pass by, Koki was one of Ueda's friends who supports Ueda the most. Koki was also the first KAT-TUN members who attended Ueda's Mouse Peace solo concert and even stayed behind just to fly with Ueda to Korea so that Ueda won't have to fly alone. awwww, I love Koki~

Nakamaru : Nakamaru was Ueda's best friend since before they even formed the KAT-TUN group. They shop together, eat together, travel together and do other stuff together up until the point that Nakamaru even know a lot of Ueda's personal habits. Right now they both hosting a radio show and they have no problem teasing each other in public. In their R-One series, they even revealed that they always go to school together and Nakamaru always slept on Ueda's shoulder in the bus. In recent interviews, it is also shown that Ueda worries a lot about Nakamaru and he is very vocal about it. They're married anyway... *gets smacked*
Nishikido Ryo : Prior to their long time so-called rivalry, which I personally don't think they are rivals at all, most people have the thought that Ryo and Ueda are long-time enemies. Ryo, however, admitted that though the fight was scripted, he might have gone too far as to hurt Ueda and he already apologized. In a Kanjani8 concert where KAT-TUN appeared as guests in 2004, it is said that Ryo called Ueda and Ryo even wrap his arm over Ueda's shoulder. (Actually, this happen in more than one occasion)

Yamashita Tomohisa : Yamapi and Ueda were not connected through personal friendship. However, Ueda's family and Yamapi's family always contact each other. Yamapi brought this up once on the Wink Up Dengoban, and Ueda apologized to Yamapi because his mom was bugging Yamapi's mom and even walked their dogs together. Yamapi however replied to Ueda and asked Ueda out together too. Ueda also adores Yamapi a lot. In one interview, when asked if he could turn into someone else, he said he would want to become Yamapi.
Mouse Peace crews : In Ueda's heart, Mouse Peace crews that are Okaza Masami, Junya, Takeshi, Taizo and the others are his family. It is shown how passionate Ueda felt about them as he mentioned them a lot in KAT-TUN's interviews. Masami mentioned about Ueda a lot in his blog and he even attended KAT-TUN's concert to support Ueda sometimes. Yup, yup, Masami came all the way from Osaka to Tokyo just to watch Tat-chan... Awww... During his concert MC, Ueda said he can smile and be himself today because of them. When they performed, Ueda loves to give Takeshi more attention because the drummer cannot move around like the other band members. I really love Mouse Peace *finger crossed*

Alice Nine and Sadie : Because Mouse Peace was built with a number of Visual Kei people, Ueda kind of having a little connection with Visual Kei bands. He was seen to be exchanging Wink Up Dengobans conversation with Alice Nine and on May 2011, Sadie's guitarist, Mizuki tweeted that he had meals together with Mouse Peace's Ueda and Masami in Osaka. (the J-Rock lover... I think Uepi really loves being in a band, don't you think? I think it's probably the reason why he said he loves Kanjani8 in TV Fan last July *shrugged*)
Kobayashi Ryoko : During March-April 2009, Ueda was given a chance to play in a stage role of Romeo & Juliet co-starring Kobayashi. Later on prior to the release of KAT-TUN's album No More Pain in 2010, the gossip magazine Friday ran a story claiming that Ueda and Kobayashi were dating, which of course denied by their respective agencies. This gossip however, despite being published with a photo, was remained unclear up until today.

Ichihara Hayato, Tsukamoto Takashi, Suda Masaki (Runaway movie casts) : In 2011, Ueda was given a chance to cast in a movie as one of the four main characters with Ichihara Hayato as the lead character. During filming, it is said that they filmed days and nights and they spent months together working to make their drama work until one point they got so close together. In one of Ueda's break, he was interviewed as a KAT-TUN member, and he mentioned his Runaway casts as his new best friends, telling how he enjoyed working with them. Ichihara Hayato also gave him a necklace as a present which Ueda wears it recently everytime. (You can see it on screen actually, and to be honest, Hayato won't be doing that to those he is not close to. He's quite a quiet person, so when he gave Ueda the necklace already proved they're close.)

And, sorry, I'm too lazy to track all of Ueda's Wink Up Dengoban interaction with other Johnny's because it's TOO many, he talked too much with the other Johnny's including the Seniors and Juniors, and I don't remember all of them, lmao~ *gets smacked* :P
Okay, this is half of what I know about my hubby Ueda... I wanted to write more but I feel it's TOO many and I'm too lazy to write down the long post... *sigh*
