Artistic Suffering

So im broke, i hate being broke dont you? I honestly have 10 bucks to my name. Ive realized that i shop out of some emotional need, this is not good at all. There are days i feel sad and will head down to borders and pick up a graphic novel or DVD, sometimes both! This is something i have to work on because i not make enough money to support that

David, Wow! This is a sad story, but, at the same time, a story of such a triumph of the human spirit. I know it sounds silly, but, at least you have a dream...and, a dream that really means something to you. Most people dream of material things, so it takes a great person to dream for an idea. I have a friend who is dreaming to make it big in theater and he literally kills himself every day, going to work during the day and taking classes and making connections at night and, on top of it, going to either auditions or rehearsals (depending on whether he's in a show or not). And, I admire him so much because he wants it and is willing to put forth the sacrifices to do it. It really does take a special person to be able to do that. So, hang in there...such perseverance has to pay off!
