My brother gave me a CD filled with political stuff, mostly sound bites and comics he found on the web. He also added a few speeches from the DNC from July, and I listened to all of them, but Barack Obama's DNC speech really got to me. Obama's hopefulness, passion, and sense of urgency was compelling. Yeah--that's what his speak was intended to do. At least for Democrats it exceeds. You will hear another one at the next election; don't worry. It's passionate rhetoric, no doubt, but doesn't manage to say all that much ( ... )

It's a little difficult to not blend deologies in a country like ours. A Democrat with a few conservative values and a Republican with a few liberal values is not that uncommon.

Also, it appears from your replies in the past few days/weeks, that you are not a Democrat. Would I be correct in that assumption?

Oh, and I will sum up my eulogy in the next update.

It's not uncommon. Not for us, no. But the point is--America is ran by two political parties.
