I open up the case on my computer, and all of the blue screens stop.

I am confused.

Could it be a case of overheating? I didn't get BSODs but I used to have the hard drive lock up if the inside of the case got too hot.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't know what's causing it, though. I checked the CPU temperature and it's normal. I think I need a new fan and a heatsink, unless it's some other bit of hardware causing it.
