[When she waited, Parker considered what do when she saw him. Even though Kirk had said that McCoy was coming back, Parker hadn't really believed it. So hearing his voice had been a shock to her, a big one. And the magnitude of the shock had shocked even her.

As the door opened, and there was that look of surprise and relief, Parker grinned quickly. There was just a moment of that grin before her hand balled up and she swung at McCoys face. Was Parker still pissed he'd left even though it had been well over a year for her? Yep. she hadn't realized how pissed she had been until the two were face to face again.]

[McCoy wasn't expecting to be socked in the jaw but he couldn't say it was too much of a surprise. He took a moment to move his jaw, letting out an amused or surprised sort of snort as he looked back at her with a raised brow.]
