Jack knew this was all his fault. He was the commandering officer and the soldier, but he couldn't help but laugh at their situation. Especially when, looking back, he'd been in much worse. And he counted the last time he'd been alone with Christine Chapel worse. At least he could move his limbs here.

When he laughs, she glares at him. "How the hell is this funny?" she asks, annoyed as she pulls her hair into a higher ponytail. It's certainly like a Bayou summer here. And she always liked to hit the beach back home.

"Yeah, because being stranded on fucking Dagobah with you and having just watched a crewmember be eaten by a plant is exactly my idea of a sitcom," she snapped, sarcasm and youthfulness coming back with the heat and stress of the situation.
