I have to say, all the stuff going on in the Middle East amazes and depresses the hell out of me. Is it just me, or does Israel get away with a lot more than its neighbours and other places, such as North Korea? Isreal is treated the same as most Western nations - they have carte blanche to attack a country in retaliation for actions against them. Look a the US invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan... tens of thousands of civilian fatalities to avenge 3,000 American fatalities.

Isreal is a member of the ruling group of western nations that determine global policy. As long as they remain one of these western nations, they will have this ability to act like the other members of this group, namely the US.

Doesn't hurt that they get the majority of their weapons and ammo from the US. The conspiracy nut at the end of the hall says that the money they didn't get from the Swiss banks is from the US, so I guess it's just a matter of having a controlling interest.

You are absolutely right. And that makes me more depressed.

I should really learn to stop paying attention to the news. Maybe if I buy an SUV and spend more time shopping I won't notice how much the world sucks...

Patents, yes, but not hypoxiaddict. Her BEING a girl is patentable, despite her being a girl being obvious.
