being an epileptic, i have long been an advocate of medicinal use. i could produce tonnes of links of scientific and legal data citing numerous precedents that agree with you, but really the most convincing argument is my own personal experience. i rarely ever have seizures anymore. i don't need more convincing than that. :)
Yeah, I hear you. One of the side effects of my pituitary tumour is fibromyalgia - when I was first diagnosed, my doctor prescribed a pile of different pain meds and none of them worked. The only thing that ever alleviates that pain is good old THC.

I recall that the LSD "treatment" for alcoholism came out as an after-effect when the army was using LSD as a potential truth serum. Still amusing, though.
