Today I am a very happy kitten. I am the proud new owner of a brand spanking new iMac! Of course, you'll have to start prefixing all nouns with 'i', for example:
iPerson
iBaby
iCar
iHouse
And my personal favourite:
iWipe
And you'll have to get rid of anything in your wardrobe that isn't shiny white or brushed-metal... Small price to pay. ;-)
The interface is very shiny... and much easier to use than windows IMHO, though you may find the lack of support for things like MS Exchange bloody annoying.

Mmm... shiny things.
My plan is to bring Mac to the people who don't like shiny white (or white in general). Kinda like my iPod's black rubber (well technically, silicone) suit. I shall call it the iGoth and iFetish lines.
I don't use MS Exchange these days, so that's not an issue for me. And I can play Unreal Tournament (so pretty with the flat screen!) so I am happy.
How you doing? Any word back from uVic yet?
