Going crazy trying to identify a tree with palmate venation, 5 lobes, alternate arrangement. Not a sycamore, not a sweet gum, not an oak or maple. It must be rare or exotic because I just can't find it!

Also trying to identify some tiny bugs...

Do you have a picture of the bugs? Where did you find the bugs?

I don't have a picture... they're small and dark colored with antennae... they are in the kitchen! Do you have experience with bugs?
