Wrapping up the year

By this time tomorrow, I should be in Pensacola Beach, FL, celebrating the holidays with my family. Alleleuia! I am so happy for this it's hard to know where to begin discussing it

I *love* that story! I read it in the magazine when it came out, loaned out the magazine to my sister, and never got it back. This is a real gift--it's printing out as I'm writing this :). I saw a movie a few years ago based on it.

Good for you for sending out! I've gotten no love with my stories, either, but maybe someday. No worries about not keeping in touch, it's all good. You've got plenty on your plate, I hope Florida is okay, and how nice about the jacket!

I think essays are fine, if you want to. Blogs are pretty much anything you want :)
