Thanks, Carly, I think, for reminding me about the forums set up for CIEE Tokyo study abroad students. I started reading the thread about people's flights to and from Japan, and saw that someone had booked a flight back to the US on July 26th. People were wondering about that, because the program ends on the 30th. Apparently it had once ended on

o_o GAH! Has the other guy updated on his situation yet? I wish you luck. Maybe the school can pull some strings or do something to help remedy this, since I'm assuming the mistake was made because of some outdated information from them?

The easiest thing to do is just to change the return date. Yeah, it usually costs fifty dollars, which might not be readily available, and it might cost more as it's international, but that would definitely be the least hassle.

Although it might also be worth it to call CIEE or Chris Bettera or something--he's a pretty nice guy, and maybe he can help.
