It's a little strange... I've never considered myself an artist before. And yet today, I feel strangely inspired by the medium of pastels. In fact, I was so inspired that I was led to create this piece. I call it.... Dark Iris.
I think the colours of the wings, in such stark contrast to the bleakness of the remainder, serve to hilight the fading colours of the world around us, as technology and the present day world of bustle and fast-pace overtake the simple beauty that we find in all things.
