Now has anyone looked for a way out while all these people have been falling in? Personally I'm rather tired of my stay already.

Oh, I don't know, it could be very fun! It's not often a person gets to talk to theirself, is it? Well. You'd think not, at least, but it seems to keep happening to me. Funny, that, I thought the universe was supposed to implode or collapse or-- well, something equally impressive. S'pose even I might get it wrong on occasion, maybe.

The theory I know is that if you meet your double you are fated to die. That seems a bit extreme, and I have yet to die so or that I'm grateful.

It wasn't fun, he's different enough to be upsetting. Though if he were exactly the same I think that might be more upsetting.

Theory? Theory! It's more like a legend, I'd say, and even that's not entirely accurate, either, depending on who you ask. Mostly in my case it'd be the issue of a time paradox -- always tricky to deal with when you're meeting a past or future self, really, and you never know when they might cause the universe to collapse in on itself or move backwards or-- oh, well, any number of things. Messy business, I prefer to avoid it when I can.

Oh, you would put that spin on it, wouldn't you. Takes all the fun out of it, you know!

Legend, theory, it all leads to about the same place. Time paradox' all of it is something I don't want to bother with. Too complicated, to bothersome.
