At first it was a little festive hearing this song, after the first few /playthroughs it was still even fun, now it's just getting repetitive and aggravating. It's as if it's saying in a sing song tone: 'Here you are, alone, sober, and welcoming the new year in a grummy pit!". Not to mention it shouldn't even be New Years yet! Interesting way of looking at the song.. cant say I argue really. It was the beginning of summer before I was deposited here. Sasami was just talking the summer festival which would be happening soon. Guess you're not the only one that missed a fun summer event.

I've missed everything! I got to be around for May Day, and a few days after that I find myself here! Back home I could at least get find a party or something.

Same here. I remember last years celebration. We had so much fun with the karaoke machine. And Sasami had out done herself on the cooking. Of course Ryoko ended up getting drunk.. but still, we all had a fun time.

But now... I'm being blasted with music. Goddess I miss them.

Unfortunately, I must agree. I would not have thought it possible, but it seems the rulers have found a way to turn even music into a spiteful curse. That and I don't consider the dead of winter the mark of a new year.

I'm rather used to this being the right time, it's just my biological clock says it's not even June yet!

Where I'm from I'm only familiar with three different times for the new year.
