The insanity continues...
Yes, it's another update. And yes, it's once again placed behind a cut. ;)
My dress is in! Has been for a while... came in the week after we ordered it. I tried it on, it fit and looks great. Now, just have to have a few adjustments made on it. Soon, soon. :D It's about half-way paid off now and with the money I'll be getting from my tax return, I can finally help my mom pay for the rest of it. Yay. It's nice to be getting back almost a thousand dollars. ;) Anyway, so there's that. I have another fitting for the dress sometime next month, I think it is. Not sure since my mom made the appointment.
Devin, mom and I sat down the other day to discuss some more things that needed to be gone over. Like ushers and bridesmaids. That... has got to be one of the hardest decisions. And now I'm thinking I'm going to talk to Devin about changing what we'd decided. He was going to have his two brothers and my brother as his ushers, one of them to be Best Man. Since it's supposed to match on my side, I chose amdayen as Maid of Honour since she'll be here early to help out and Gina and Devin's sister as Jr. Bridesmaid and Bridesmaid, respectively. But I have other friends that want to be one and that I want to be one. But the dresses cost an arm and a leg and for some reason we're having trouble finding modest dresses in the colour they need to be. So we might just not have a line excepting our parents. Will save money. And hurt feelings. :/ I never knew how stressful and... sometimes aggravating planning a wedding could be. Bah.
We also decided on which invitations we wanted and mom, grandma and I went to Artco the other day and ordered them. :D Very pretty. They should be in within the next two weeks, at most. We also found out that a wedding gift pack goes free with the invitations including the cake knife and server, two goblets, a wedding album and thank you cards and a 40% discount on the napkins. Also, since Devin's sister works for Artco, we got an additional 20% discount on the whole order. :D Woot! So, that's finally taken care of. We got 200 of them and hopefully that covers all the people. X_x Gracious. May need to get more, not sure on that. Until then, I'm not going to worry about it.
We also confirmed a good time for mom, Devin and I to go to the Temple so that I could get my endowments. Exciting! Yay. End of march, as it stands right now. I can't wait. o.o;
We've also discussed flowers and places to get flowers and prices. Not in too much detail. We still have to discuss what I want my bouquet comprised off. I do know I want lilies in it. So pretty. Yes. I'm still so happy about all my friends coming! This is going to be great. Which reminds me. I'm going to check into seeing about getting a tour of the plant where I work set up for those coming so they can see where I work. ;P Hehehehe. Anyway, I think that's all for now.
