lee's just switched hosts to 34sp.com who have so far been excellent and you always get through to a real person when you call them up. i'll have to change my provider imminently and will probably use them too.. they were recommended to me by a techy friend and she's never had any probs either. :)

I've been very happy with Penguin. Probably not the cheapest though, and might be overkill for you.

i use www.flickr.com for my photos which is free unless you want bigger storage space and stuff. As for my domain and webhosting I use www.123-reg.co.uk My needs are the same as yours, i dont need php or anything fancy just html cgi and a bit of space. I have the basic service from them and have done for the last 5 years, no probs , my emails always get forwarded right and they have webmail for when i cant get to my normal computer to access them through pop3.
