[11 pages turned] Maybe a trip to the zoo is in order

Feb 26, 2009 21:01

Judging by what everyone's saying on the network, I can assume the believe that there are dinosaurs at the zoo is true. After all, curses follow the pattern of being true when a vast majority of the people post in reaction to what's happened. And to imagine that even in those instances there are some who are unfazed and remain silent for that day ( Read more... )

That's a good question, but I know what you mean - but then again, there's a constant coming and going where I come from, too.

What does your literature say on them? I think I may look it up myself, once this curse is over.

Do they manage to keep records, where you're from?

Well, the word 'dinosaur' comes from the Greek language. The general idea is that they... ('are' or 'were'?) are reptiles, and thus cold blooded, but there are a few who believe that they have feathers. In fact, there were some fossils found on Earth that proved that there were some feathered dinosaurs. They were the dominant vertebrate group for over one-hundred-million years and suddenly became extinct. From what I've read they cause of their disappearance is under dispute. Some survived and evolved though.

I think so. I don't know the exact procedures of it, but every family's required to register at a buddhist temple, so I guess that makes things easier.

Wow... that's quite a lot of information. I'll definitely have to read up on this!

It must, maybe that is the only way to handle keeping track of a large population.

I tried to choose some high points for the discussion. It's a very interesting topic though.

Yes - keeping track of and controlling it.

Discussion? I really wouldn't know where to start.

Hopefully in a non-damaging way.

No, it's okay. Hopefully I didn't get carried away with talking about this.

It varies.

No, that's alright! It's very intersting! It's just that it's all news to me.

I guess that's how it always is.

You're completely unfamiliar with dinosaurs?

Probably, yeah.

Utterly. I'm from a time and place that's a lot less... diverse than here.
