[Action] | Jumping in here 8Dsemper_cogitansMay 20 2011, 01:49:40 UTC
[And it is precisely this moment that an extremely-distressed-looking Robert comes out of Don's room and staggers into this one through a haze of tears. He's just dealt with this reply from Adell on Vivi's whereabouts, and all he can think about is the fact that his daughter is gone.
He's obviously trying to contain himself, but his voice is still breaking and his apparent distress should be obvious even to Isamu.]
D-Don... Don, M-Miss Aislinn... is gone...
S-She, she was sent home... [And then his voice breaks and he sobs softly into his shaking hands a moment. After a full-body shudder, during which he manages to stem the tide of pain enough to get himself under control, he mumbles:]
Sh-she... she left s-something for m-me... at House 44... m-may, may I... g-go retrieve it, please...?
[Even that is an immense effort to say, and the end of his sentence dissolves into a teary whimper. He doesn't look up at anybody.]
I-It is... [And yet Robert had planned to try to half-lope there. Yeah, that wouldn't have ended well.]
I-I... ... a-alright.
Th-thank you... [Robert heads only briefly back to Don's room to snatch up his journal and nanocomputer - more for the sake of comfort for anything - before turning with bleary eyes to Don.
He's glad that Don's here, now.]
(OOC: Going to jump back to thread with Adell now? o/`)
[Don uses Robert's brief absence to track down the rest of his family, and let them know what happened and where he's going. When they reconvene in the living room, he turns his back to Robert and crouches down in front of him.]
[It takes Robert a few seconds to realize what Don wants him to do... and he's a little skeptical of it in all honesty.
... Still, he's kind of beyond the point where he's going to question it now, and at any rate emo is making him want to cling to Don anyway. So he is totally clambering up onto that broad shell and clinging.
He may or may not sniffle pathetically against it a few times. Your boyfriend makes a terrible jockey, Don.]
[Don reaches behind Robert's knees and hoists him up into a position that's more-or-less comfortable for both of them, before straightening up and navigating carefully through the front door. Once outside, he takes off at a run.]
[Soon as Don's out the door, Raph turns to Isamu, looking even more perturbed than before. Don, Robert, you guys are freaks. And that's coming from Raph, for cripes sake.]

Just what we need, more freakin' dramatics.

[He glances around quickly. Raph is stable and in good hands. Vivi's disappearance is, right now, the more pressing emergency.]
[His bo is leaning against the wall - he grabs it and slides it into his belt.]
I'll go with you.

I'll stay with Raph, then.
[Even if there really wasn't much he could do. How did one transfer magic? All he can think of is an MP drain spell.]

Still...]
A-Are you certain, Don...?
[He doesn't want to go alone, but he doesn't want to endanger Raphael more, even if the turtle looks a little better than he did.]
I, I w-would need to... i-inform the residents of House 44 of... m-my arrival, then...
[Which he obviously isn't in much of a condition to do while choking back the occasional watery sob.]

[Robert will find the ride surprisingly smooth.]
