Molly, I'm sorry. The playground designs are going to take longer than I thought. Logistics interfered with the creative process. I'll have them to you as soon as I can.

I still have my magical abilities from my world here. What about them would you like to hear?

I want... [Maybe he should start at the beginning.] Much as I hate to admit it, technology is very limited here, and it seems like magic might be a better way of getting certain things done. But I can't predict what kind of magic exists, and I haven't been able to find a listing anywhere of what people here can do, so... I thought I would take that on as a project. What can I write down for you?

To be honest, I am able to use any and all types of magic. From what I've learned from reading and listening to others, some have "elemental" factors in using their magics. For mine, that is not the case.

Are you able to learn new magic? I mean - how does that work? If you thought of an ability you wanted, would you just... learn it?

What you say in way it is truth and in a way it is not. I was not able to obtain the same abilities as any of my companions were able to in my world and the same was for them. My theory is I will contact the spirits of this world to obtain stronger magic. Of course this is all theory, I do not know if I was truly be able to obtain new magic or nothing happens at all.

So, sometimes, you just - learn new magic? Without knowing ahead of time what it will be?

[Wow, what he would not have given to wake up one morning and suddenly be capable of a new ninja skill. He hurts just thinking of how many times he face-planted in the dojo, trying to learn a single new move.]

Well I knew I was able to learn new magic since the world was my dream, but I wasn't certain what skills I would obtain and what ones I wouldn't. This sounds very complicated and confusing, I'm certain.

The world was... huh? No, I'm not following this at all.

((Mun would be totally lost if she wasn't passingly familiar with the game. XD HI FREDERIC.))

I'm sorry, perhaps I should explain myself better. [He clears his throat and then begins.] You see, back in my world I was sick. During the night, I found myself entering another world which was that of my dreams. Eventually my journey led me to believe the world was not exactly a dream after all, but a world of its own from within the realm of my mind. Of course, the end of the "dream" was an unfortunate one as something happened which caused my dream world to vanish and myself to survive the illness because of what I had done.

[ooc: ffffff, hi to you too. I am also so sorry if you're getting lost. DX I'm trying not to break the 4th wall with this explaining magic deal and I think I'm failing. Also, if you're confused about his explanation, you're free to ask about it.]

That's... wow. You're a dream-walker?

((Nope, you're doing totally awesome. Cuz people level up in real life, right? XD))

Dream-walker? What is that?

[ooc: Oh thanks, I'm glad. And they totally do, rofl!]

Dream-walkers. They - It's like lucid dreaming, only more. A dream-walker can control what they do in a dream, and the things they accomplish in the dream-world give them real insight into something in waking life. They gain knowledge they couldn't get by ordinary means. I've heard that some dream-walkers can cause physical change in the real world, just by manipulating their dreams, but I'm not sure I believe that.

The first part of your explanation sounds exactly what happened during my journey in my dream. The second part however about causing physical change to the real world, that didn't exactly happen in my world.

At any rate, it sounds like you learned something that helped you overcome your illness. Or... you were able to effect change within your own body. Either way.

... Sorry, how did we get on this subject?

I think when I told you about my dream world, you were curious of that. Thus, I began to explain it to you and then we began discussing about dream-walking.

Oh, I have almost forgotten my manners. My name is Frederic Francois Chopin, a pleasure to meet you. May I have the honor of knowing your name?

Oh, right.

Frederic. [Frederic? Is he - Nah. It's a common name.] I'm Donatello.

[Okay, he has to ask.] Are you, by chance, Polka's Frederic?
