I don't know why we even let him hang out with us.

This was such a fun monologue! What a great choice to force the other characters to be filtered through the narrator. For me, it created the kind of sensation of a kid having a tea party with their toys; the kid vocalizes all the antics and quirks the toys would have while they sit still dutifully awaiting their tea. Minutes pass. Also, loved the way you played with the familiar elements of campfire stories while elevating them to something more. Awesome job!

I love the tea party analogy. I wasn't thinking about it when I was working on this (I was thinking about a high school speech and debate performance), but it totally fits.

Great story! It reminds me a bit of a youtube channel I found, The Tulpa Effect. Creepy :D

I've seen The Tulpa Effect! I'm obsessed with the Slenderman.

It's great at making my skin crawl! I kinda want to research more .... but I'm also afraid that I'll just help create it. LOL

I like how you did this all from the Narrator's voice and there reactions to the people with her. Great storey

I experimented a lot before I settled on that format, and I'm glad I did. It turned out to be a lot of fun to write.

And yes, this is totally true! Love it! So cleverly spun! I especially liked the bit where the narrator had to pee. So funny!

She tried to make it to the end, but ultimately she was a slave to her bladder.
