If only I could write more than just short stories. Maybe a collection?

Oof. I remember that boy you like so much you're willing to be someone else for, and this is about how it always goes.

The detail and tension in this were great, I was pulled right along. Also, someone should slap Charlie, for idiocy (I thought something would happen but not to me) if nothing else.

The real question is, will she still have the crush after all this? I'm inclined to think that she does, because teenage love is an untamable beast.

Oh no, Rafa! I really enjoy the way you bring her to life. But her blind spot for this guy is painful. I loved the patchwork of bad spirits response to the prompt, though. A nice counter to the sappyness that I go to first.

Give her a break, she's fourteen. She can't control where her feelings take her at that age. Besides, he's so dreamy.

The sappiness suits you, though. Besides, this was a sappy prompt. I feel weird that I didn't go in that direction.

Well, Charlie is clearly an ungrateful dick.

Charlie is the definition of entitled.

What a great story! I loved how you centered the topic around a possessed heart. Poor Rafaela - to be the hero and rescue Charlie, only to be rejected by him.

Rafaela may be a confident ass-kicker as an adult, but her teen years were sure awkward.
