This is some shady shit she's gotten herself into--the reaction of the author sure didn't seem too generous, but isn't she basically the one breaking in? What did Morrigan give her--a lover?
I can't blame LL Rawlins for pulling a gun on her. I don't think of Rafaela as the hero of this piece (there's really no hero).
As for her deal, she'd never sign away her autonomy for something as simple as a lover. If I stay in the contest a little while longer, I might tell that story.
An excellent explanation for reclusive authors! I enjoyed this very much. I never thought of spells for bowel movements, but it would be a great idea to disarm someone. I loved the humor here. Excellent!
I think bodily function spells are underused as far as disarming a foe is concerned. Why shoot magical lightning out of your hand, which takes so much effort, when you can just whisper a few words and they uncontrollably vomit?
Hah! I wouldn't mind knowing a sneeze spell, or one for hiccups, to get out of the little situations. It's hard to pick someone's pocket while sneezing.

That was quite an intriguing spell. Gross, but very effective and ultimately temporary.
