So I have a little problem to think on. My mother was going to come and visit us during spring break...but her job won't let her off the Friday before Spring break starts. So she called me today, and the there was crying and I didn't know what to say. She was trying to think of ways for her to come see the baby. Well that phone call came to me

It is kinda silly for her to ask you to let your aunt take Nyna back with her. Yeah that is a really silly idea.

Josh doesn't get a spring break and his schedule is 7 days of work 2 days off.

why is it so unreasonable for you guys to come home for a bit? lol. suzy has a point, you know, since you and justina are both out of the house she probably does just miss being a mom...

sorry, i know you probably dont want my advice, cause you sure dont seem to wanna keep in touch, but hey, it was worth a shot.

I know I sound all unreasonable not trying to come home...but you do the math. One car + 5 month old baby + 10 hour car ride + finding time to see all our family and friends = too much of a headache for three day weekend (two days of which we would be driving) I know it would be nice to go home more often but unless we had a week, it wouldn't be worth the stress and there would not be enough time...even if we used all 24 hours of everyday.

I notice that you didn't even mention feeding her at least every 4 hours or being stuck in a care with her when she's tired and fussy(which she would probably be both on a 10 hour drive)...If it was me..I would wait until we could fly..even then it would be a pain..but not as much...BTW..She's YOUR child..don't let ANYONE guilt trip you over her..She's YOURS..My family does very similar things and they only live 30 mins away

Yeah the drive is 10 hours because of the frequent stops. We really could make it in like 7 or 8.
