Can they hope? Pray? Wish?
What does a star wish?
To live forever, never burn out...?
Can a star love?
To feel love is to shine bright

I was a star
I dreamnt of love
I felt it, and wished it true
When I found it,
I hoped it stayed
It left, and I prayed
for it to come back.

I was a star
And I fell
