If you really want to go in to theatre you can do it after this degree. I know it's expensive etc, but at least if you have this degree you'll be able to get a job so you can pay if you do want to do a degree in theatre. It will take longer, especially if you go on to do it part-time, but it definitely won't take too long - don't give up yet :).
I can't really comment on boyfriends at all, but I figure if university isn't your place to meet boyfriend-type people, then whatever happens after will allow you to meet way more people, and different types of people, of different ages etc, and a person is much more likely to find someone they fit with. Everyone in university is sort of the same, or in the same place, I'm finding, so maybe you're just better fitted for someone not in the university bubble?
