i'm a big fan of lettuce. but i'll eat pretty much anything that's given to me... also the word "salad" tends to be applied rather loosely. like tuna salad. It's OBVIOUSLY not salad so much as goop. but the name still sticks...

Yeah.. but no one claims that tuna salas actually IS salad... They don't actually treat it as a replacement for an actual salad. Here, a bowl of noodles and vegetables, which I would consider a main or side dish type food, they actually view as a SALAD.... it's kind of odd to explain I guess.. but I think you know what I'm getting at. right?

yes i do, we have hardcore german friends, remember? so pretty much i know how all this goes. and it is odd, but it can be eaten without complaint as a... whatever it is.
