brilliant! goes to show what people can be like if they don't take themselves too seriously. i'm a little ashamed to say that during the city chase this year, not a lot of melbournians were like that.
well, a lot of people just didn't want to play with us.
for example, as part of one of the challenges, we had to get a picture of a non-chaser in an AFL team jersey. Han and i thought, what better way to do this than to go to the official AFL shop (the one next to the club x peep show cinemas on swanston), and ask someone to model a jersey for us. the shopkeeper there basically told us 'no' and to 'find someone else'.
on the other hand, we found a western australian who was wearing a west coast eagles shirt to pose for us, and a geelong native who was heading back for a funeral wake to actually participate in a challenge with us. it wasn't as hard last year to convince melbournians to do silly stuff. maybe people are just taking themselves too seriously.
