Simply wonderful. So many little beautiful moments (which nearly broke my hear). A precious piece about a relationship we didn't learn enough about.

You're welcome! We really enjoyed writing this. And it was a relationship that deserved more exploration. I wish they could have given the two characters a bit of closure. But that's what fic is for I guess! :)

You're welcome and thank you! I liked Tory too and thought her relationship with Laura was interesting. We enjoyed writing this. Wanted to give the characters some closure.

Ooo, you know, I have a 'love/hate/useful' relationship with Tory, which had pretty much fallen into the hate part after she started being so mean to Laura. But if I step back from that, she really was lost and looking for an identity. I love that you fleshed this out here and gave it depth.

I have a lot of sympathy for Tory in a way, because I think she was forced to wear the black hat at the end of the series in order to service the plot. But I do think she was really just a very lost and abandoned girl, and I wish they could have fleshed that out more. But that's what's great about fic, we can do it for ourselves. Thanks for the feedback!

I really love the Laura/Tory dynamic. They had such a complicated relationship and this story really highlights it.
