Suburban Wildlife

Stuff I've seen since returning home:

Bats
Hummingbird
Lizard with a blue tail (climbing on the screen door)
Sparrow
Wren
Katydid
Baby Preying Mantis
Big spiders building big webs
Various large, intimidating winged insects
Butterflies & moths

The cicadas do sound wonderful this year.
No sign of a raccoon or opossum yet.

Ehhhh well you can certainly hear the coons when they decide to fight...

Deer have been coming to hang out near me a couple of times lately! And a coyote was checking me out and for a few hours I had a pet preying mantis. He hopped on my shoulder and got a ride there about a mile and then hopped down.
