So it is spring break of my senior year. Columbia is pretty much dead. Nobody I know is around much so I'm left to enjoy solitude in the eerily empty city. Watched a screening of Orfeu Negro (1959) tonight for my Brazilian Cinema class. The translation was humorously awkward. I enjoyed all the song and dance--I wish I could move like that, it looks fun. They make it seem so easy too. And of course the Brazilian women are beautiful, so there was plenty of eye-candy for me to enjoy.
