i sometimes fall into a void where that kind of stuff is all i can think about & i get upset.. y'know.. the animals shelters.. then thinking about the heaps of homeless people out there.. heartwrenching.

This is what I was talking about, even discussing this issue raises awareness! Aswell it may give someonelse the impulse to do something. Not all of us haveto be activists, but I think we all haveto be aware-ists.

I agree. I would never put you down for trying to get people involved in what you believe in [especially when its a VERY good cause], and as groups, trying to do something about it.

But you have to realize too, that as sad as this is, sometimes people [like myself] have to directly experience it to give a damn. You talking to me about it a few weeks ago did not motivate me to want to do anything whatsoever. Because instead of me seeing how much someone/something needs me and others like me, alls I could see was some punk kid trying to make me feel bad about my lack of contribution. No offence haha. But Im sure Im not the only one.

So maybe another approach is necessary. Not just from you, but from everyone who believes in something and wants something done about it.

if you want, you could do makeup for the sweatshop free fashion show that im co-organizing. all proceeds go to building a school in sierra leone, africa. it's likely going to be in october..

Emilie Raymond.

It's a Free the Children event. It's basically going to be a fashion show with a bunch of companys like NOSweat that don't use child labour and/or sweatshops.

We could definitely use you as a model if you're interested in that too. But it'd be a lot of work for you to do everyones makeup and your own and then strut your stuff.

If you want to do it though, that'd be cool.
