Lux from the Cramps died today. It makes me rather sad for he and Poison Ivy would come in and buy gardening magazines and books all the time when I worked at Borders back in the 90's. I always thought of them as just a sweet couple who talked about their garden and would always ask me how I was doing and not as rock stars.

I just read that Patrick Swayze has decided to cease all treatment for his cancer since there is nothing more the doctors can do for him.

I don't know why but this makes me very sad.

I picked up my mother today from her surgery and she decided to tell me in specific detail about the colonoscopy and her loose bowels. Eww

Since I have bad genetics, I decided to invest in AFLAC through work and signed up for the Cancer insurance. However I am now debating if I should keep it and pay the extra $18 out of each paycheck or cancel it.
