Hate to say it, but you'll likely have several silver girls before it's all said and done. But, that's the beautiful thing about poetry. What you feel for her is immortalized in your words and has become a unique work of art that can't be replicated. I say that alone is worth any loss we have to endure.
I would have chosen the same era. More specifically I'd probably go back to the late 18th century in the Romantic era. Rebellion, darkness, fights for equality, reverence for nature, new appreciation for the beauty of life, Opium...yeah...I should have been a Romantic poet. :P
I'm also still surprised that poetry wasn't just a fleeting hobby for me for a few days. After my first poem it got in my blood. It'll be a year in April since I started writing, which isn't long, but I'm nearing my 300th poem and I fall more in love with the art form with every one.
hahaha, of course! my hero of that era is Alexander Pope, although I think he lived a little after now that i think about it... Either way, the man was a genius, and he dressed his girl friend up as a boy to make people uncomfortable.
Anyway, questions: ) of all the emotions in the world, which is your favorite to experience, and why? 2.) What do you think is more important: the heart or reason?
3.) A boy on the streets walks up to you and tells you he is Buddha, reincarnate. Do you believe him?
4.) What is your dream job?
5.) If you could only live one place for the rest of your life, where would you live and why?
1.) You're doing 100 mph in a residential zone, and a man comes running out into the street. You hit and kill the man. Upon inspection of his body, you find a swastika tattooed to his forehead and a hunting knife in his boot. Do you feel guilty for killing him, or do you think his life choices make it alright?
2.) You can only listen to one song for the rest of your life. What song and why?
3.) Who is more important to you: your lover or your friends, and why?
4.) You know about a friend's plan to murder a kid you don't particularly like. Do you intervene, help, or avoid involvement?
5.) Would you ever go to war if drafted? Why or why not?
My lad, conscription is not a choice, it is your sworn duty as a citizen of these United States! Why, even the dastardly Loyalists are aware of this fact!
Be you a Jeffersonian? For only an Anti-Federalist could have such a loose sense of loyalty!

2) Ebolorama - Every Time I Die. It speaks for itself.
3) My friends, unless my lover is cooking me dinner.
4) Murder is a bad idea, with the exception of a few CBA students, such as Henry Wankerwhich. I'd try to prevent the murder from taking place.
5) Absolutely not. I am not fit to serve in war. At all. I'd send Ryan.
