Main:What is it about college administrator's that makes them hate students? It seems like colleges hire teachers in a way that they think will make them money, so it's bad that they don't always let teachers run classes the way they want.

At my community college, the teachers designed their own curriculum and I got such a good, thick, education there. It's pretty decent here at Eastern, though sometimes departments have to vote on issues and good ideas get outvoted of course. I am not sure how it works at your school.

I met someone at my school who had previously gone to CMU who said he didn't get as good of an education there. Students pay so much money for their educations. But I think that's what it is all about for many administrators- money and nothing else.
