Yup. Of course, the Mets still get to play after next weekend. Unlike the Nats. And the Red Sox, whose abysmal collapse continues with a slide into 3rd place in the AL East. It's a good thing the college football season is here.

We're just taking everything we can get. The nats get their ahem "vacation" starting next week. They deserve it!

Actually, I was posting because of the great game last night (and first series win in new york since the nats moved to DC). The nats have a rookie of the year candidate, had a solid performance in the second start from perez, will have the return of their best starter next year, and have the 4th player in history with 40 homeruns and 40 steals in a season. Plenty of joy in mudville. And no silly playoffs to worry about! Kicks are for trids.
