Her husband's costume was also amazing. I tried to get photos but he was sitting down the whole time.
The second-last pic is of some people who had a whole longwinded explanation for why they were dressed like that. It had something to do with Alice being Quite Mad and hallucinating the whole Wonderland thing, but to be honest, I wasn't listening to closely because I was too busy gaping at how great they looked.
chaeche (of Watchwomen podcast) was the one who devised the Awkward Handshake question. She also got in two other questions: one about the substitution of Dan for Rorschach when Dan goes to visit Adrian at the beginning of the film and another question about the removal of Dan's "devo" line.
What happened when the Awkward Handshake question was asked? I was told that Snyder seemed confused about it at first and there was tittering from some of the female fans in the audience? Was JEH still there at the time? Give us some more details please! :D

I'm so glad it was chaeche (and Snark and I were right about it being someone we knew).
What happened when the Awkward Handshake question was asked? I don't know as for immediately because I was too busy laughing hysterically. I think a lot of people, maybe most in the audience, got it immediately and smirked. His Snyderness seemed confused but I'm pretty sure he wasn't at all confused and was just stalling a bit while he carefully worded his answer. A lot of folks seemed amused in general.
JEH was still there. He didn't say anything in response, and I wasn't close enough to see his facial expression. I like to think that he approved, though.
whatttt? Nimoy only gets hotter and hotter. Eventually he will exceed maximum hotness and cease to exist in this plane.
Jason Lutes is a good guy. I got to do a book-discussion on Jar of Fools with him on the comics journal message board a million years ago. I tore up the ending, and he was totally cool about it.
^__^; I'm glad you liked it! (dave did too. and that made me like... die.)
I was also sitting with holyheat but we left that room before the movie actually started. The guy sitting next to me's my BF and I had to get him back to the hotel to get his car, since he had to drive home AND go to work the next day. It's not good to get back to your house after 2am when you have to work the next day D:

HOORAY for The Dude! There should be more Cohen Bros. cosplay. :D
