[The younger Raistlin looks at the camera. Figuring out how it works wasn't difficult at all. But like the older him, the dilemma was that he didn't want to talk to people.]

What are you? Are you an illusion?

[He feels somewhat stupid speaking into the device, but then, he watched everyone else do the same thing.]

[ well, the voice is...not... too different - ]

...I don't suppose you might be horribly, terribly, utterly deprived of a rather large construction somewhere?

[It takes Buffy a moment...a very long moment to recognize Raistlin because of the dramatic changes in his appearance.]

Yeah...it's the City. [She takes a couple of cautious steps toward him because Buffy's fairly good at reading people and when she met Raistlin the first time she certainly didn't get harmless off him.] You don't remember coming here?

[He shook his head, a look of irritation and discomfort on his face. As a teenager, he seems so much more vulnerable.]

Is this anywhere near Haven?

[ ...that's a familiar face and yet...somehow not. Too young, Arthur notes but it's disturbing anyway. ]

[ He's not sure how to begin. Somehow starting with how do you feel about pinwheels seems not the way to go. To Arthur who thinks this is a dream - this whole 'City' and everything in it - this person, this likely projection is just wearing the uncanny face of their last mark for subconscious reasons. Hard to say. ]

It's, sort of hard to describe. You know anything about alternate dimensions?
