Honestly, I don't like either of them. Neither of them will make a good president. But Kerry is just promising whatever he thinks the American people want to hear, and then once he gets elected, he isn't going to follow through with any of it. It's proven that if he follows through with everything that he has promised, the nation will be in a record breaking deficit. In his debate, he was too busy dropping names and mentioning Cheney's lesbian daughter to really get down to the facts. I just plain don't like him.
you make a good point, i think bush is a good man but i dont agree with what he has done with america, and im not saying kerry will do such a great job becuase i dont and wont know until i see it for myself but i think something else needs to be done about these situations we are stuck in and bush isnt doing it i do respect your opinion however.
I love him. Um yeah, and where to begin on how he's better than Kerry? Well lets see...We ALL know what he stands for, he's like 397945974 times better looking (haha kerry=horse), he has strong morals and won't compromise ANYTHING for them, and he's just an all-around good person. I can't imagine anyone else better suited for president than him. Representin' the DUBYA, baby. haha. =P
please dont feel like i'm attacking you as a person, i hate people who judge people based upon their political stance, but i was just wondering how those reasons actually support bush? sure, he's an easygoing, overly religious guy who has good christian morals, but does that make him a good leader?
Sure does! I'm a Christian & it's extremely assuring to know that Bush involves God in EVERY decision he makes. He's made that very clear and isn't afraid to talk about it. That's a huge, HUGE reason why I'm so supportive of him. My stance on abortion, the death penalty, gay marriage,..etc all agree with Bush's opinion as well, so that's also a big part of it.
yeah, i guess that's it. i personally am not religious, but i respect those who are. i think the reason i appose bush is because i'm not religious, and it actually kind of offends me that he rules with religion. i respect his faith and his morals but i just dont think its fair to inflict them upon all of the american people. however, for those who are christian and share the same views as him i can see how he would be their choice. so yeah, i see what you're saying, i just completely disagree with you ;) but what can i say, i live in seattle and am extremely liberal (yeah i love gay people and i'm pro abortion (though only to a certain extent), hate me all you want
( ... )
the first reason is shallow, i'd love to just have a change..i dont think i could deal with another four years of this.
bush needs to realize that just because he believes in god it doesn't mean he's doing the right things. i despise his view on abortions and gay people (ok fine im a liberal from seattle, what can i say) and i hate how he rushes his decisions, and although he stays with them, which some people find good, they're not always right so he needs to learn how to change his plans based upon what's going on.
so there's my shpeal. (is that how you spell that?)
