First up - the Dawn Treader is coming along nicely, which is just as well, since I think filming is supposed to start next week.

I reckon you're right about the rigging and CGI deal. That was the first thing I thought of at any rate!

I always wondered why plovers insist on nesting at ground level. It just screams 'Eat mai babies!' to anything that even remotely resembles a carnivore. Stupid birds. Glad to hear the little family is ok, though!

Hugs,
C.

They are definitely more than a bit silly about nesting sites. There's another one in the park across the road, I discovered yesterday, that's set up right next to the stretch of canal that is 'owned' by a pair of white herons. I walked past just after it managed to chase one of the herons away, and got swooped several times for my crimes - don't think I've ever seen such a stressed-out bird.
