How far away from your pad (km or miles) is it? Is there any potential to take a cab, uber or lyft back?

But damn dude. I really hope that the surgery does fix the problem and that you don't have any bad side effects.

It's about a 100-110km on the 401 (think interstate) and then another 10-20km via city streets, depending on the route taken.

Taxi's charge $2.50 per kilometre and have a limit to how far they will travel.

I may have a friend who could maybe pick me up after he's finished work...but he won't know for sure until closer to the day of surgery.

What really upsets me about all this has been the delays for surgery. If surgery had taken place months sooner in 2015 or even this time around I probably wouldn't be facing fistula surgery.

Best I can do to mitigate the bad side effect is to start kiegel/sphincter exercises for the muscles involved.
