Arrived and checked in at the hospital...waited an hour fifteen minutes before they took me in.
Then an interview with the intake nurse plus a cardiogram.
Then a hospital pharmacology technician made a list of all the medicines and supplements I take.
Then an anesthesiologist interviewed me.
Then a general surgeon interviewed me.
It took three and a half hours altogether...and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be staying overnight after the surgery. I'm still a bit uncertain whether or not I'm going to be in overnight as I had conflicting information between it being day surgery or and overnight stay...and I haven't yet been able to get through to the surgeons office for a definitive answer as to what is happening.
After the screening I drove home into an ever worsening snow storm and ever slowing traffic (the car was covered in a layer of frozen road spray and slush except where the windows were heated).
