Still alive, though highly stressed. I ended up getting into 7 Deadly Sins (an anime series on Netflix), which has been my stress release this past week. And I think I'm going to hit the new Power Rangers movie this weekend to relax (and hopefully relive positive memories of childhood).
Other than that, we continue to have overcast skies and a lot of rain, with a rare sunny day in there too. Of course in a few months, it will be sunny all of the time and no rain.
Me too! It's a damned nasty place to have surgery. I'm still waiting for home care to be organized as the surgery took place in another home care territory from the one in which I live. Their computer systems don't interconnect so everything has to be done via faxes.
I've heard about the cyclone on the news here in Canada. Has the storm affected you in any way?
I assume no fistula is a good thing? Here's hoping you heal quickly and thoroughly and can put this whole mess behind you. Because this is just shit.

An art store was having a massive sale, and I got prismacolor colored pencils for some 75% off. Massive indulgence, but how could I resist. Much coloring must happen soon.
Also, my anxiety has just been out of control. Grocery shopping is enough to send me to the edge of a panic attack (I do it anyway, because STRONGER THAN THIS SHIT arg). Actually, doing ANYTHING at all has been difficult because my anxiety manifests as chest pain and seriously, you try doing things when every time you try you get a stabbing pain in your chest. It's frustrating.
I have several projects planned including coloring, more doodling, and playing with a spinning wheel Nee got me. I played with it a little - enough to remember that I don't remember how to spin. Ack. I mostly remember, at least. I just need to brush up on technique and whatnot.
It's called an electric eel wheel. It's a bitty little electric thing, which I'm finding a little weird because I'm not used to controlling speed and twist with little dials. Nee found it on kickstarter a while back and invested to get me a present. ^_^ The plus side is that really, you can spin pretty much anywhere with that thing.

I'm okay. Work is the usual, life is as usual, more or less. We've had a cyclone to our North.

I too hope this is over quickly and heals properly this time around. It is indeed shit.

Hurrah for sales and bargains. I look forward to seeing your coloring artistry.
You're tough, you will get through this. As much as it sucks and is frustrating *hug*.
I do enjoy seeing your projects come to completion. What kind of spinning wheel is it? I'd like to look up a picture and information about it.

I found a bunch of videos on YouTube about it, which gave me a good overview.
Have fun with it.
