I'm still alive and doing well enough. Though the bro is still in the process of moving out. On the upside, the January has had a number of warm days and I have yet to work a Saturday (though think that it will start next weekend). My mom slipped and broke her elbow about 2 weeks ago and had surgery to fix it (but is still having some issues related to it).

I'm glad you're doing OK.

How long 'till you are rid of the brother?

We've had some warm days too, but usually they bring enough snow that I have to shovel. It's warming up this weekend and with it about 8 inches of snow *bleah*.

Oh hell that's horrid about your Mom, hopefully she gets better quick.

Honestly, I'm not sure with the brother. As the initial graduation and move out day was planend for the end of 2016. Then it became June 2017, then December 2017 and I haven't yet gotten a new date yet. I mean, I don't want to kick him out and have him be homeless (as he is still in school and has no job), but at the same time, I do feel a bit taken advantage of.

My mom's voice is slowly returning. I may be going down to visit her tomorrow, but we will see.

We haven't had a ton of snow this year, and what does come down, just seems to stick for up to a week (and it is never more than 3-4").

Is he paying any rent or helping out about the place?

Best wishes for your Mom.

We've had snow last night and all day today...I shoveled this morning and will be shoveling later tonight before going to bed.

yay computer!

On the day you posted this, I had caught the flu. Or maybe a really really REALLY HOLY CRAP HORRIBLE cold. Yesterday I was finally functional enough to read! Been reading the Trade Pact books. Super great.

Hello!

I hope you are getting better. Fortunately I've managed to avoid both Colds and the Flu this winter.

Thanks for the heads up on the book series, I'll see if I can get them through my Public Library.

Yeah? Well if it helps any, the author is Julie E. Czerneda and the first book in the series is called A Thousand Words for Stranger.

And I am indeed feeling better. Yay!
