Fic auction for Casimir Effect - Authors post

In an effort to find another way to raise money for the film, and one that allows more fans to contribute, it was suggested by jovialien that we hold a fic auction.

It’s my first attempt so I’ll keep the guidelines loose, if you have any recommendations please PM me;

This is me, tossing in my two pence.

I currently write mainly Torchwood with a smattering of Dr Who, and mainly Jack/Ianto. 1000 words is just getting started. ☺

If anyone's interested, comment or PM me and we can work out the minutiae. This could be fun and it's for a great cause!

I can offer a Torchwood or New Who (9-11), happy if it's a crossover or just separate. I normally write a lot of Ianto-centric stuff but don't mind what pairings or central characters. I would probably prefer not to write all out smut (plot please!)

Length wise, I would probably write up to 3000 words. But depending on the prompt this could be slightly shorter.

I'm not sure that my writing will insight bidding wars so perhaps start the bidding low? You choose?

I can offer a Torchwood or Doctor Who (preferably before Season 5) fic of any reasonable length requested (1-3k, perhaps?). Can try my hand at crossovers if I'm familiar with the fandom, and I'm open to pretty much any pairing. Bidder would have to provide the prompt. Since I'm not in the highest demand, I'll let the mods decide my lowest bid. :)

Sure, I need something to kickstart me, and auctions always do that! I can do a Torchwood fic - Jack/Ianto or gen - of at least 1000 words containing up to five one-word prompts or one scenario suggested by the winning bidder (or they can leave it up to me totally). Rating G to NC17, depending on the winner's preference. My TW fic masterlist is linked in the sidebar at my LJ, for style assessment. :)

Hi - have just seen your auction and have a short story about Gareth in OZ - purely fictitious and a joke. I posted it in three parts on my Facebook (Magi Fowler). It was written in response to a short story written about Cate's imagined disappearance after being abducted/mishandled by Russell T Davis.
Not sure where to send it to or whether to just post it up here. It is 2593 words long.
Please don't let Gareth read it as he has already strangled me for other past misdemeanors..lol - see my pics on FB
