My feeling on video games of this nature in relationship to growing violence amongst teenagers (is it really growing? I don't know) is that they certainly don't help. I'll be interested to watch this, I'm kind of surprised I missed it. I think things generally boil down to 'what you put in is what you get out' so I'm not sold on the idea that hours spent virtually destroying things is great for the psyche, particularly the psyches of an entire generation that are in the process of developing their moral compasses.
Well the Columbine game is an rpg with very crude graphics, I have not personally played it but it does from my understanding teach you a lot about the events leading up to the massacre etc.
