CON!!!
the con was awesome this year! didn't take as many pictures as i'd have liked to, but had more pictures taken OF me then i have pretty much ever. haha...jill and i had our picture taken 4 times before we even got in line on saturday...good times.

first, we made nerdy cookies to bring with us...haha. featuring star trek, star wars, snakes on a plane and much much more...
first person i met at the con...Rowdy Roddy Piper. oh.my.god. he was awesome. super nice, he took my bags and put them on the table so her could hold my hand and such...he called me beautiful, which may have been because i was the first and only girl in line for him at the time. lol
and his autograph, complete with grammar error. hehe
next was Gates McFadden, Dr Crusher on TNG. she was also super nice, and totally gorgeous in person. she wasn't allowing flash, hence the blurry.
her autographs to me and ben. ben's says "you missed your appointment" because he wasn't there. excellent.
Jeffrey Combs, of Reanimator and various Star Treks. also a very nice man.

then! we met alice cooper! it was a verylimited meeting, sort of a hi how are you as he's already signing the next persons thing. but all in all, super cool.
jill and i packed wine in our luggage, and drank it out of hotel mugs with ice cubes. lol...classy, no?
saturday is the big con day, and the day of the masquerade so this was the day jill and i really dressed up.

we also went to alice and gates I&I's that day, but i didn't get very many good pictures. alice is hysterical, and seems so great. and gates is a teacher at a university in california, and just completely brilliant. love her.
best xmen costumes ever...they had scenery! haa

the gorgeous Scarab (from Kabuki) mask i bought. love.
and my Trek figures, 4 of which i purchased at the con. both Deanna's, Locutus and Riker. Nemesis Riker and Deanna came as a set! yay!
anyways, a good time was had by all as usual...too much money was spent, but what can you do lol...
