I agree with you, when you see someone's genius come out time and time again, in the way that Nabokov's does, it kind of humbles you.

Being smart is fine (god knows in a wold filled with morons and fucktards it's much appreciated), however, being original and unique, as well as new, is really where its at in anything one can endeavor to try.
