i got stung on my foot 2 days ago! i have no idea by what because i never saw it, just felt it afterwards and oulled out the stinger and it still hurts like whoa. my foot's swollen too. but i don't think i'm allergic b/c nothing else is wrong (i.e. no breaking out in hives, not being able to breathe or anything). i'd never been stung by anything before this so i'm being pretty whiny about it.

Oh wow. Maybe it was a wasp or a scorpion. :( I'm sorry to hear about your plight. I hate when my feet swell up, because you have to ice them down. :P Very boring unless you have good company with you. When I get stung by ants, it's usually not pretty. This time it was only once or twice by one ant, but before I've gotten very sick over a few bites. So, I'm actually lucky, but I decided I'd complain also. :)
